People loves to watch television dramas everyday and everywhere. With an advance of technologies, people are easier to keep in touch with television dramas by using their gadgets on the Internet. ‘Over Run Over’ is one of the best television dramas that I have watched in previous years. It is a 2016 Hong Kong science fiction and considered as time travelling series in Hong Kong television drama industry. Ling San-Fung (Fung) is a madam (police) in the department of The Emergency Unit (EU), once she involved a fire with a group of criminals while on her duties, and her father dead killed by stray bullet. Fung is sad and drive car around then accidently she travel back to 3 days ago, the 1st April. Moreover, she realizes everything is the same as she gone through in the past 1st April. So, she decides to avoid the accident and save her father but at last she failed again. And then, she tries to travel back on and on in order to avoid things happen that she thinks she is capable to handle all people’s destiny. Fung however faces different challenges every time she goes back; even sometimes she makes things goes more complicated than before. Another character Kwan Ding Ming (Ditch) is the village chief and also an informer of ICAC, he and Fung teamed up to find out who is the corrupted cops and since Ditch found out Fung’s ability and then they both travel back to change things happen. Gone through some many times of travel, Fung and Ditch become the best partner of each other and fall in love with other.
After watching this television drama, I think this is a new idea of time travelling and giving some reflections to us. People always regret on what they have done before, always want a chance to go back and avoid things happened like before. They mostly have confident on handling all stuffs that thinks that they would not lose again, like Fung. But, this drama tell us even we have chances to go back, even we could avoid certain accidents happen, another accident could occur. We do not have to change anything from the past, the only things we should do is to treasure what we have now, and accept what’s going on. Like one of the lyrics said “once is enough, no need to experience over thousands times.” ‘Over Run Over’ is a local television drama that it has a common element included - the love affairs, Fung and Ditch, continuing as always from haters to lovers. In addition, the drama tries to mainstream people’s ideologies, in the drama, Fung’s father said the richer use their rights to destroy the nature beauty, to build high-rise building, and developers use various way to force the resident to sell the land to them. It expressed that people should do something to reject the projects go on in order to protect the nature areas. Furthermore, there is a scene says that Fung argues with Ditch, thus Ditch asks his ‘brothers’ to record down the situation they are facing via their phones and upload to the forums. It is an example of social gossips. Refer to Halbwachs (1992), no memory is possible outside frameworks by what people experienced, people understand as it is a real issue happening in Hong Kong. Overall, I like ‘Over Run Over’ a lot, it gives reflections on telling us to cherish everything and no need to have regrets on our past.

Dear Joey, Your found a nice angle for your analysis of the drama. Nevertheless, it is not well elaborated. In fact, the selected drama and the idea of "disappearing of traditions and old buildings" are not precisely articulated though there are plots related to development of villages. Another point to note is about the quote on memory. The same problem happens. The quote seems to be included just for the sake of quoting.
